If you look through our recent posts you might recognize the colors and patterns of this quilt. Our residents have been busy creating this beautiful quilt to be added to the Ladies Auxiliary Raffle. The draw will happen at the crokinole tournament on March 6th so come on down, buy some snacks take a chance on the raffle and cheer on the crokinole play. Tickets are 2 for $5 - 5 for $10 - 11 for $20. All proceeds will go toward Salem park benches. #connectcommunity #createcommunity #salemfoundation
Earlier this month we had a Sweetheart Lunch for residents and their spouses. Pastor Aron said a beautiful prayer to open the lunch, and Linda Hiebert sang soft hymns in the background. It was incredible to celebrate love, especially love as long as we had in the room, with some couples married over 70 years!

No matter how old you are, keeping the balloon up in the air is serious business. This past month our intergenerational program with the grade 6 classes from Emerado Centennial School was trying to keep the balloon from touching the floor for 3 minutes…we all decided that 3 minutes is way longer than we thought. #connectcommunity #createcommunity #lifeatsalwm #salwmvolunteers
