Visiting Salem Home
We are so happy to welcome visitors to Salem Home! When you are visiting we ask that you follow any guidelines to keep all residents and staff as safe as we can. We look forward to seeing our residents’ friends and family members!
We ask that you stay home if you are sick
We continue to ask you to stay home if you are sick. We want the residents to continue to be able to move around the building and spend time with their friends, without having to isolate in their rooms or care areas.
Covid-19 is still around, and we are also in the cold and flu season and need to be mindful that these can be spread to our residents as well.
Before visiting, please ask yourself the following questions, and if you reply yes to any of them, we ask that you stay home until they have been resolved:
- Do you have or have you had COVID-19 within the last 10 days?
- Have you been told you should be isolating?
- Have you been tested for COVID-19 and are awaiting the results?
Medical grade masks continue to be required for all visitors within Salem Home. The screener will supply these when you enter the building.

Please stay home if you have any of the following symptoms:
- Fever or chills
- Shortness of breath
- Cough
- Sore throat
- Headache/eye pain
- Exhaustion/body aches
- Muscle/joint pain
- Malaise/loss of appetite
- Stuffy/runny nose
- Extreme weakness/fatigue
We ask that you stay home if you are sick
We continue to ask you to stay home if you are sick. We had a great summer where our residents were able to go outside and spend time with their families and we would love to continue to allow the residents the freedom to move around the building, without having to isolate in their rooms or care areas.
Thank you to all of you who so willingly follow the request of wearing a mask. We know it is not easy, but it is needed still.
