Create and Connect Market – Where Community and Creativity Meet

📅 Date: Wednesday, July 30, 2025
🕙 Time: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
📍 Location: Salem Park, South Side of Salem Home – 165 15th Street, Winkler, MB

Are you a young creator, future entrepreneur, or just looking for something fun to do this summer?
Then come join us for our third Create and Connect Market at Salem Home—an inspiring, intergenerational event where creativity meets compassion!

The Create and Connect Market isn’t just a place to shop—it’s a community celebration designed to bring residents, kids, families, and friends together in a joyful space filled with homemade crafts, food, and heart.

Whether you’re a young artist eager to sell your handmade jewelry or a resident sharing your beautifully knit scarves, this market is about building relationships, having fun, and supporting a meaningful cause.

What Makes This Market Special?

Salem Home believes in the power of connection. That’s why our market brings young creators (aged 16 and under) and our Salem Home residents together to share in creativity and compassion. It’s a chance for kids to interact with older generations, brighten someone’s day, and be a part of something that matters.

All proceeds from resident crafts and donations raised at the summer market go toward purchasing Wondershow wristbands for families in need, so they can attend the Winkler Harvest Festival and create joyful memories of their own. Last year, we raised enough to cover wristbands for an entire family of 5—and we’re hoping to grow that impact even more this year!
