Casual Integrated Housekeeping Attendant
Under the direction of the Team Leader, the Integrated Housekeeping Attendant (IHA) performs the necessary routine and special cleaning functions to maintain a clean and tidy environment for resident area. The IHA also assists with the Activities of Daily Living needs of the resident in the areas of assistance with meals, ambulation/transfers and toileting as required
QUALIFICATIONS
1. Minimum of Grade 10 preferred or a proven ability to read and comprehend English written instructions. (Testing may be completed at time of interview utilizing online practice reading tests). Physical and mental wellness to meet the demands of the job.
4. Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships on a consistent basis.
5. Genuine interest in people and a sensitivity to their needs.
6. Calm, patient, flexible attitude necessary to work with cognitively impaired residents.
