At Salem Home, housekeeping is integrated with Resident Care Services, and we are extremely proud of our team! The primary role of housekeeping is to clean the physical spaces within the facility, however, integrated housekeepers also interact with the residents in many ways. You will build relationships while assisting to escort residents to and from areas within the facility, assist residents with their meals, and lend a much-needed hand when a resident wishes to lie down.

We don’t let this vital service go unnoticed! Our Laundry Service handles well over 30,000 pounds (14,500 kg) of laundry each month, including all personal laundry of the residents. The team graciously ensure that enough supplies and clothes are available when needed, and interact with the residents on a daily basis, bringing them their laundry, clean linens, and doing minor mending tasks.

The Clinical Dietitian will provide leadership in nutrition related care with Residents and their families to promote health, improve control of pre-existing problems, and lower risk of further complications. The clinical dietitian is responsible for the provision of Resident nutrient assessments, recommendations for medical nutrition therapies, development of nutritional care plans, evaluations and follow ups.

As a nurse, you will work with the latest technology when it comes to equipment, and do your charting in an electronic health record, the same as all other resident care team members. You will lead a team of Resident Care Attendants and other members of an interdisciplinary team in providing resident-focused care, within the Mission and Vision of Salem Home. Your nursing skills and knowledge are vitally important as you assess and plan the care for those entrusted into your hands. You will have direct supervision of a Resident Care Manager, who will mentor you and help you to become the best version of yourself.
